I presume that it's customary to tell a little about oneself, to form a little background, which will go some way to establishing a rapport with the potential reader.
However, the chances are that you came here via Twitter, so you know some things already. I'm a well-worn 37, I live in Didcot, a town famous for it's cooling towers, being a useful junction for train travellers (and possibly the last western outpost for commuting into Paddington before you need to consider selling a kidney to pay for a ticket), I collect animals to fill the silence and I work in Maidenhead. I tweet constantly and furiously about First Great Western trains. Don't fear, this is not an attempt to extend those tweets into a blog, @DomUtton takes FGW apart on his blog in a far more original and amusing manner than my tourette-tinged rants ever could. I also, for my sins, follow AFC Bournemouth both at home and when finances allow, away around the country. Again, there are several voices on the inter web who will cover that particular subject better than me.
So I suppose, in union with many other blogs on here, this will be a collection of musings, rants, questions and attempts at humour which may, or may not, strike a chord, create discussion, create a chuckle or invoke scorn. I'll treat all these imposters the same, if you will....
